Volunteer Tutor

As a Volunteer Tutor you will help newcomers improve their skills and gain confidence.  Tutoring is required in areas such as:
•    English (experience and/or training required; NCC will provide a free training session to interested volunteers)
•    Studying for citizenship tests (study guides and practice questions provided)
•    Basic computer use (Microsoft Word, Internet, etc.)
•    Highschool subjects such as math

Volunteer Tutors are often in demand (especially for English) and are greatly appreciated by our clients.  Volunteer Tutors must be able to commit to at least two hours each week for each round of tutoring (small group tutoring is also possible).
