Generation Solar is a generous supporter of the New Canadians Centre Peterborough. As a leader in solar energy solutions, this local company designs, supplies, installs, and services solar electric technologies for commercial and residential applications in South Eastern Ontario. With Ontario’s FIT (Feed in Tariff) and MicroFIT programs, more people are moving toward renewable energy and Generation Solar is part of that movement. Their support of the New Canadians Centre Peterborough reflects their positive vision for our diverse community and we thank them.
The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peterborough is a community of about 80 Catholic women who, through the public vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, commit themselves to live and work so that all may be one. Their spirit and mission are shared by 10 groups of lay associates throughout Ontario and Alberta. Their contribution of $4,000 towards the Migrant Farm Workers Project enables us to assist migrant farm workers in Northumberland County over the summer and to improve their access to health and social services.
