Speakers Bureau Volunteer

As a Speakers Bureau Volunteer you will create awareness of issues faced by immigrants in our communities and provide opportunities for cross-cultural learning.  Volunteers will be trained to give presentations on the work of the New Canadians Centre and on speaking about their immigration and cultural experiences.  Past presentations have included speaking to Grade 11 anthropology students about different cultural values and providing information on the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
