Grace was born in the Philippines. She has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2000, working as an auditor in Thomson Reuters for 5 years. She completed the Simply Accounting Course in Academy of Learning in Peterborough to familiarize herself with the accounting system in Canada, and also completed the Income Tax Course at H&R Block which gave her a better understanding of the Canadian tax system. Grace was part of the New Canadians Employment Initiative at the New Canadians Centre where she worked as a Bookkeeper.

Faye was born in Malaysia and came to Peterborough in September 2007. She has a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Trent University. Faye was a Trent International Ambassador, and was active in the international community at Trent. She enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
