One-on-one Employment Services

This is your first step to finding employment or education opportunities in your new community. Our employment services coordinator can help you plan your job search, refer you to relevant resources in the community, and help you network with local employers.

Mentorship Program

The NCC through its Workplace Integration Centre offers a mentorship program between new Canadians and established Canadians in the workforce. Having lived here for a significant amount of time, established Canadians are able to offer advice concerning employment and life here in Canada.  Mentoring is the pairing of an experienced or skilled person (mentor) with a person who would like to improve his or her skills and knowledge (mentee).  Please access the following links for more information and forms:

Assistance for Foreign-Trained Professionals

We can help you if you earned your education and credentials outside of Canada. We work one-on-one with you in the following areas: assessment of credentials and prior learning experience; translation and acquisition of necessary documents; and the accreditation process.
