June 7: “A Taste of Canada Day”- Join us at the Press Conference
The New Canadians Centre, in partnership with the City of Peterborough would like to invite you to Del Crary Park for an early taste of Canada Day. This entertaining press launch will include a preview of one of the cultural performances to be seen on July 1st, samples of the international foods, as well as a brief overview of the significance of this event in Peterborough’s social and cultural history. Aside from tasting the delicious foods and taking in the impressive performance, members of media, NCC volunteers and partners will be presented with the first glimpse of the programme lined up for the 2011 Canada Day celebration.
